Katie Jones - Let Them Eat Cake

Challenge

To raise the production level and impact of the Katie Jones imagery to new levels in order that it would reflect the quality, craftsmanship and price point of the pieces themselves.

The Opportunity

To showcase the unique colourful larger than life personality of the clothes and to elevate the brand, drawing new opportunities, buyers and International stockists.

The Idea

To create a universe in which the Katie Jones exuberant brand personality could exist. Showcasing the cool, colourful, no BS attitude of the brand while allowing the detail and intricacies of these beautifully crafted hand made pieces to shine.

Execution

We created a universe where the world is a blank canvas, infected by Katie's clothes and culture, leaving fun party time colours behind wherever they went.

New stockists including Selfridges

“Emma was the driving force behind my AW Let Them Eat Cake collection campaign which became a huge turning point in the recognition of my brand. Emma curated the team for Let Them Eat Cake and creatively directed the concept, introducing me to Studio Lune and bringing Rachel Manns on board for photography - teams I have worked with numerous times after! Due to the strength of the campaign I picked up new stockists including Selfridge's. The images for this season and the following then became beneficial in my Selfridge's Bright New Things pitch which the brand then went on to win. Emma took the spirit of the brand and our ethos fully into consideration and raised our imagery to a whole new level.”
